Watt-Flex Replaceable Immersion Heaters

Heating an acidic or caustic solution in an immersion application can be a difficult and often dangerous procedure. Dalton's Watt-Flex replaceable immersion system eliminates the complication of changing the heater and draining the tank.

Dalton Electric's Watt-Flex cartridge heater and immersion well system use a sheath with a welded endcap and NPT fitting that screw into the side of the tank. The sheath becomes a permanent part of the equipment. The cartridge heater is then inserted into this well and held in place with
a flange. It can be removed and replaced with ease.

Clean and safe.
Heater never comes into contact with tank contents.

Easily replaced without draining the vat or tank.
Watt-Flex heater contracts when de-energized
for easy removal.

Easy Heater Change Out. The flanged Watt-Flex cartridge heater is secured to the NPT fitting with two screws.

To replace the immersion heater, simply remove the screws, and slide out the de-energized heater.
Immersion Heater Specifications

Both the Watt-Flex Cartridge Heaters and Immersion Heaters are manufactured to customer specified lengths. Please specify Overall Length of the Immersion Well (see drawing above).
