Company moves from small shop in Salem to former NE Dive Club in Beverly, MA

Southport Enterprises acquires Dalton from J.W. Churchill
1983
Eli Whitney is hired to create and lead sales team. Doubles business in first 4 years.
1988
TSA acquires Dalton from Southport. TSA brings stable investment in people, sales, and capacity.
1989
Company moves to our current site and World Head Quarters with plenty of room to expand and grow into.
2003
Dalton makes 1 millionth heater in 2003, the next million will be done in almost half the time.

Two story addition houses new offices and expanding manufacturing footprint.

Diff-Therm® turns 40 years old. Dalton continues to drive vacuum diffusion pump sales.

Watt-Flex® celebrates 30 years of reducing cost of heating and warranted removal.
