About Dalton

Seth has served on the Dalton board for fifteen years, stepping into the CEO role in January 2025. Before Dalton, he held senior executive leadership roles across a thirty-year career in technology and professional services — including COO of SapientNitro through Sapient's pre-IPO growth and Publicis acquisition, Global COO at Cognizant, and President of Hi-Tech at Quest Global.

On the governance side, Seth has served across public company, private equity, startup, and nonprofit contexts. At Ditech Holding Corporation (NYSE: DHCP), he served as Chair of Compensation & HR and Lead Independent Director, joining the board following the company's emergence from a prepackaged restructuring and leading through its $1.2B acquisition.

Outside of work, Seth is a sci-fi reader, juggler, and chess player. Earlier in life he was a magician — starring in a world-renowned show in Beverly, MA from 1976 to 1991, performing at the White House eight consecutive years, winning Magician of the Year in 1985 from the Society of American Magicians, and appearing on the cover of National Geographic World. The troupe was also featured in Time and Smithsonian.

Tom Shields Jr has been a Founder/CEO, CTO, coder, venture investor, coach and board member. He focuses on mission-driven technology companies, and currently is full-time in healthcare AI. Tom previously created the first ad server and took that company public as the CTO, helped build multi-dimensional forecasting with one of the world's largest ML-driven multi-sided marketplaces, was involved in two $1b+ crypto projects, and was board chair at three climate-tech companies.

Tom is an avid outdoorsman, and has some expertise in raising kids, playing basketball, and singing a cappella.

Tripp is a senior management professional, entrepreneur, and investor with a passion for building high-performing, standout organizations. He founded and successfully scaled a high-tech manufacturing company, leading it through a successful exit. With significant experience in banking, investor relations, and strategic leadership, he thrives on identifying and seizing opportunities that disrupt markets and drive transformative growth.

Beyond business, Tripp believes that people are the foundation of success. He is deeply committed to coaching and mentoring, helping others unlock their potential, navigate their careers, and realize their personal capabilities. As a proud parent of five remarkable children, he has learned that leadership is as much about guidance and empathy as it is about strategy. He continually seeks opportunities that merge innovation, leadership, and meaningful impact, whether through investing, advising, or building the next industry leader.

Tripp is a graduate of Hobart College and the University of Rochester’s Simon School of Business. He enjoys life with his wife Shannon, doggedly pursues fresh tracks alongside his kids, and values the discoveries found in the pursuit of personal wellness. And, of course, he still shakes his bones to the sweet sound of Jerry & company.

Lynn joined Dalton Electric in 2022, bringing a diverse skill set in business, project, and people management. With a "team-first" attitude, she leads by example, promoting clear communication across Dalton’s global workforce. Lynn is passionate about enhancing employees' work experience and fostering a strong sense of well-being within the company. She is proud to be part of Dalton’s ongoing transformation and growth.

As a long-time resident of Cape Ann, Lynn enjoys an active lifestyle with her husband, pup Ellie and family.

Ilmi Toromani, originally from Albania, has built a diverse and accomplished career spanning multiple industries, including air traffic control and construction supervision. In 2001, he joined Dalton Electric in Ipswich as a machinist, where his dedication, expertise, and leadership propelled him to the role of Director of Manufacturing in 2023. In 2025, Ilmi joined Dalton’s senior management team.

A firm believer in 5-star quality, loyalty, and strong leadership, Ilmi commands the respect of his peers and is deeply committed not only to his craft but also to fostering a strong sense of community within his workplace and beyond.

Outside of his professional life, Ilmi is a devoted family man who cherishes time with his wife, Florinda, and their three children. While he has built a life abroad, he holds a deep affection for his homeland, often reminiscing about the breathtaking peaks and beaches of Albania.

A passionate Liverpool FC supporter, Ilmi skillfully balances his professional responsibilities with his love for soccer, embodying the same discipline, teamwork, and perseverance that have defined his career.

Jamie joined Dalton in 2017, bringing over 20 years of administrative experience in industrial manufacturing. She loves being in the mix, supporting cross-functional teams in a fast-moving, ever-evolving environment where growth and innovation are always front and center. When not (happily) chained to her desk, she’s outdoors enjoying everything New England has to offer. She is passionate about live music, travel, and quality time with family and friends. Amor Fati!

 Yvette has been a valued member of the Dalton team since 2014, bringing more than two decades of administrative expertise and fluency in Spanish to her role. She takes pride in contributing to a cohesive, supportive workplace and enjoys helping her colleagues succeed. Outside of work, Yvette loves spending summer days at the beach with a good book, dancing to Latin music, and visiting family in New Jersey. 

Tara Fowler joined Dalton Electric Heating Co. in 1989 and worked on the Production Floor for several years before joining the Quality Department. After a few years as part of the 100% inspection team, Tara moved to her current position in the Engineering Department.

Tara was born and raised in Ipswich, where she currently resides. She spends her spare time with her family, friends, and her two dogs Maddy and Havana. She and her kids enjoy the outdoors and in the summer months she spends her time on the beach, boating, and cooking out.

Jonathan began his career at Dalton Electric in order fulfillment, gaining hands-on experience with the company’s custom-made heaters. This experience led him to his role as Quality Inspector, where he developed a deep understanding of the craftsmanship and quality behind Dalton’s split-sheath heater design. Currently, Jonathan supervises Quality, overseeing product inspection, packaging, and shipping to ensure a seamless 5-star customer experience.

Proud to be a leader at Dalton Electric, Jonathan values the positive culture of the company. In his personal time, he enjoys walking, experiencing live music, collecting records (King Gizzard), and plotting his own enigmatic explorations into the realm of music and sound.
